LLCRAS Officers and Directors have already been busy since our Elections on October 30th. We continue to conduct LLCRAS business through conversations, email and Zoom Meetings.

Loon Lake Community has been experiencing several power surges recently. Although, BC Hydro has been out to check these power outages they have not discovered the root cause.
Please call BC Hydro at 1-800-224-9376 and quote trouble reference #2287584 when you have a power surge. This will assist BC Hydro with fixing the problem.
LLCRAS is collecting monetary donations for Xmas Hampers this year. Please send a cheque to LLCRAS marked Food Bank in the memo. Alternatively, you can send an e transfer to loonlakepurchases@gmail.com Be sure to write Food Bank in the message box. Please send your donations ASAP so we can help make someone else’s Christmas a little more joyful. LLCRAS will collect the donations and then write a cheque to Community Resource Society (CRS); last year CRS delivered 182 hampers in and around Ashcroft, Cache Creek, Clinton, Spences Bridge and Walhachin. We are happy to introduce two new Membership Volunteers. Sue Burdeyney is looking after the “Ranchlands” from Hwy 97 N to 1190 Loon Lake Rd and Kelly Allen is looking after 1420 Loon Lake Rd to the Red Bluffs. These are territories that have been vacant for some-time.
Early Bird Membership Draw: LLCRAS Memberships are valid from January 1st to December 31st of each year. We are collecting early bird memberships from now until December 31st. Paid members names will be placed in an early bird draw for a prize of a 2021

Volunteers of the Month for September and October were Doug Kavalec and Lloyd Morris. Doug brought his tractor to a Work Bee and made great progress cleaning up the Annex grounds and Lloyd was at every Work Bee from May to early September and also secured the Fly-Fishing Tackle Box raffle prize. We are happy to share our appreciation to these well deserving guys.
Due to COVID-19 we do not have any of our regular events planned in the immediate future. We are cancelling our annual Christmas Dinner and Winterfest. We will continue to reach out and inform our Membership with our newsletters, on our website and Members of Loon Lake Community Recreational and Agricultural Society Facebook page.
