Lorne was born on January 21, 1944 in North Vancouver and died on May 11, 2017 in White Rock. Lorne worked in the BC shipbuilding industry during his working career. He and Norah built a house on the water in the Subdivision in 2004 and retired there until 2015 when they moved to White Rock for health reasons.
Lorne fully enjoyed the various amazing activities available at Loon Lake including fishing, hunting, backcountry exploring, woodworking and community functions. He particularly enjoyed building scale wood models and spent many years in his garage workshop turning them out. The garage became a focal point for many residents and friends who would drop by for a beverage and a visit in the afternoon.
Lorne will be truly missed.
