Description

Adam Plottel will graduate with his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in April 2021.  He grew up in Steveston, B.C. and recently moved to Tsawwassen.  Adam specializes in paintings that feature components of light.  His painting, “No Word Yet on Damages” depicts the 2017 Elephant Hill Wild Fire at Loon Lake and was part of a class assignment entitled “Beauty and Ugliness”.  Adam’s great grandfather, Charlie Dowding, bought property at Loon Lake in the 1930’s and his family has been coming to the lake for close to 90 years.

LLCRAS wishes to express their gratitude to the Plottel Family for their donation of 10 limited edition prints and allowing us the opportunity to have a 16” x 24” canvas created specifically for the raffle.
