LLCRAS Executive and Board continue to work on the Membership’s behalf during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Currently, we are updating our website which should be ready to roll out on or before May 1st. We’ll be announcing a physical-distancing photo contest on the website where the details and contest rules will be posted. https://loonlakecommunity.ca/photo-contest/
We received a request to amend our AGM October 18th 2019 minutes to follow Robert’s Rules of Order, as required by our Constitution and Bylaws. As our scheduled membership meetings were cancelled in March and April; and there is no expected time that we will be reconvening LLCRAS Membership Meetings; we held a video conferencing meeting to address this amendment request.
Please note Section 8 of LLCRAS Constitution and Bylaws reads:
- Business may be carried on by the Executive and Directors by a quorum of five including the Chairman where time does not allow the calling of a General or Special Meeting. It shall be the duty of the Executive and Directors to prepare the business for all General Meetings.

Our recent Membership Drive contest ended on March 31st 2019. We wish to thank you all for being paid or Life Members of the LLCRAS. Linda Smele and Monty Bryant were the winners of this contest receiving a Loon Lake Logo T Shirt (logo designed by Janet Harman) and their membership is paid up for 2021.
